Fudi Cafe @fudi.cafeofficial is a Hong Kong-style cafe (Cha Chaan Teng), located in Madang Cove, Brunei. Cha Chaan Teng is an iconic Hong Kong-style cafe, a daily go-to spot for locals, serving up delicious fusion Asian & Western-style meals from breakfast to dinner.

The interior design is inspired by the vibrant city, with elements like neon-lit streetscapes, bamboo scaffolding, and MTR wall mosaics. Immerse yourself in the atmosphere as you enjoy your meal!

Wu residence

Located at the heart of the city, the house on a unique triangular land shape truly stands out amidst the surrounding residential houses. The design of this house has been meticulously planned to meet the spatial requirements of urban living while also ensuring privacy for its residents.

The design was Inspired by the historical site of Kampong Ayer in Brunei, where houses are interconnected by access and bridges, although each houses are different but somehow created harmony as a whole and seamlessly connected.

The house seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor living spaces. The interior living space opens up to the outdoors, allowing residents to enjoy the surroundings and amenities while maintaining a sense of privacy.

Drawing on traditional architecture and modern design principles, this house offers a unique and harmonious living environment. The approach to spatial planning and integration with the outdoors create a unique and inviting urban living space for its residents.

Situated on a hill, the house offers breathtaking views of the city and surrounded by lush greenery. With an inside-out design, the house seamlessly integrates the stunning vistas into the living space, allowing one to enjoy the scenery from the comfort of the house. The L-shaped layout wraps around the garden, infinity pool, and outdoor patio, creating a perfect blend of indoor and outdoor living. The open-plan concept connects all living areas, while the double-ceiling height dining room floods the interior with natural light. The exterior, with concrete panels and metal cladding, sets a modern tone for the home.

The house strikes a balance between indoor and outdoor spaces.

The house is situated in the foothills, privacy was our focus for the design. The courtyard serves as a central atrium, connecting rooms and framing the immersive experience. Full-height glazing panels bring in natural light and the beauty of the outside. The square-framed ground floor encircles the courtyard garden, while the L-shaped first floor projects towards the front entrance. The upper floor facade features aluminium louvres, adding character while reducing heat. This design blends indoor and outdoor spaces for family gatherings and functions. Inspired by courtyard architecture, it suits modern lifestyles.
