The Wong Residence project involved refreshing a family function hall that had served as their communal entertainment area for over three generations. The main objective was to introduce a modern and fully-equipped entertainment space that fosters bonding and interaction between family members of all ages.
We reassessed the original layout of the function hall, and an existing car park area was integrated into the design to create an expansive and adaptable entertainment area. The ground floor was strategically designed with large glazed areas and a spacious patio, taking full advantage of the magnificent pool view and creating an ideal environment for relaxation and entertainment.
A contemporary open space concept was introduced to ensure a seamless flow between different areas. Natural timber added a modern feel to the space while maintaining continuity throughout the entertainment area. Traditional furniture was replaced with sleek, modern pieces to create a more sophisticated atmosphere.
By strategically placing large glazed areas, spacious patios, and incorporating natural timber and modern furniture, the Wong Residence function hall has been transformed into a space that effortlessly merges contemporary design with natural elements. This refreshed family function hall will serve as a gathering space for generations to come.
